The Hotel La Margherita in Alghero is a centrally located and quiet hotel situated in the city center. It is conveniently located across from a supermarket. The reception was friendly, with a particular mention to the German-speaking staff member who was very helpful. The rooms are a bit dated, however, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Fortunately, during my stay, there was only 5 minutes of construction noise. The room is equipped with a minibar. WiFi was a bit slow. I didn't use breakfast and spa/pool during the stay. The room was clean. One thing to note is that the check-out time is at 10:30 am which is slightly early. Overall, the Hotel La Margherita offers a good choice for guests seeking a central and quiet stay in the city center.

It is situated super close to the center. Rooms are nice and clean. That balcony view to the sea was everything. When my sister had to check out earlier to catch a morning flight, the receptionist guy has had prepared coffee and croissant to go - whats nicer than that.

Terrible experience. While the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, they couldn’t make up for the state of the hotel. It is currently under construction, which they failed to mention previous to the booking, and it got very loud at some points. Our window gave way to one of the walls under construction and the windows could not open, so we had no natural light (and one of the lights in the room did not work). There was mold in the bathroom and the general look of the hotel was that of a hospital. Would not recommend at all.

The position, the professionalism of the staff, the view from the room was a pleasure to wake up to. It was also so clean. A real plus was the spotless well organized spa. Definitely will return

I like it a lot so far. Shame because of Covid -the leisure facilities are closed. My room is fabulous, all the staff have been friendly and helpful, -thank you for this. The breakfast was more than acceptable. Happy to be here.

Location and paintings on the walls are great. Rooftop view is great and not sure why they do not utilize it better. Our tripple sea view room was very small.
